Born in 1902 in Moscow; Russian; higher education; expelled from the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) in 1936. Writer, member of the Union of Soviet Writers. Lived in Moscow, Tverskoy Blvd., Bldg. 25, Apt. 10. Arrested on 18 March 1937. Sentenced on 19 August 1937 by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on charges of participating in an anti-Soviet terrorist organization to capital punishment. Executed on 19 August 1937 in Moscow; burial place - Donskoye Cemetery. Rehabilitated by the Military Commission of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 18 April 1956.
