Shpakovsky Ivan Ivanovich
Genus. in 1879 in Pinsk, Minsk province; Russian; from workers; member of the RSDLP since 1910. Since 1911 in St. Petersburg, he worked as a turner at the Baltic Plant. Before 1917 he was arrested three times, in 1919–1922 he was arrested four times, and in 1919 he was in Butyrka prison in Moscow. In 1920 he lived in Petrograd. Arrested 04/29/1920. sentenced Gubchek on 06/09/1920 for distributing a May Day leaflet of a group of Social Democrats to 1 year (according to other sources, 6 months) of forced labor with imprisonment. In 1921 he lived in the Petrograd province. Worked as a member of the construction committee of the branch[?]. Local security officers characterized him as a member of the Unity group, a “cooperator” and an “active” party worker. In June 1921 he was arrested in Petrograd, imprisoned in the Peter and Paul Fortress, then released. In March (presumably) 1922 he was in Petrograd prison, where he went on a hunger strike. Arrested again on October 21, 1922. Sentenced by the NKVD Commission on Administrative Expulsions on December 15, 1922 to deportation to the Northern Dvina Province (Veliky Ustyug) for 2 years. By the resolution of the OS KOGPU dated December 12, 1924, he was sentenced at the end of the term of exile to deprivation of the right to reside in Moscow, Leningrad, Kharkov, Kyiv, Odessa, Rostov-on-Don, Tula, Ivanovo-Voznesensk, Nizhny Novgorod, Tver, and the designated provinces for 3 years. In January 1925 he was in Solvychegodsk, then in Kursk. In 1938 he lived in Leningrad, Sredny pr., 14, apt. 7. Worked as a turner, member of the manager. [?] Committee of the School of Ship Engineers; arrested again on April 12, 1938. Sentenced by the OS under the NKVD of the USSR on September 2, 1938 to 8 years in labor camp. He was kept in a camp in Solikamsk. Rehabilitated in the 1920 case by the St. Petersburg Prosecutor's Office on June 3, 1998; in the case of 1922 - by the St. Petersburg Prosecutor's Office 07/07/1998; in the case of 1938 - by the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court on 08/03/1956.
