Yavorsky Mikhail Semenovich
Priest
Born in 1888 in the village of Sobchino, Semenovsky district, Nizhny Novgorod province; Russian; graduated from the Theological Academy and the Archaeological Institute in St. Petersburg; no name. Rector of the Church of St. Catherine. He was arrested in 1922. Lived in Leningrad, V.O. 1st line, bldg. 40, apt. 6. Arrested on 04.02.1924 by the OGPU PP in the LVO. He was accused of being a member of the anti-Soviet sabotage organization "Spasskoye Brotherhood", engaged in counter-revolutionary activities (Article 67), evasion of community service (Article 69), resistance to government officials (Article 73 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR). By the resolution of the General Assembly at the OGPU Collegium dated 09.26.1924, he was imprisoned in a concentration camp for a term of 3 years. Imprisoned in Solovki. After serving his term, the Special Conference of the OGPU Collegium on September 16, 1927 prohibited him from living in 6 central provinces and the border strip for a period of 3 years. Lived in the towns of Lyuban and Malaya Vishera. And arrested on January 30, 1930. Sentenced on March 11, 1930 by a troika of the PP OGPU in the LVO under Art. 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 10 years in a concentration camp. Imprisoned in Solovki (Kem) and the Belbaltkombinat, accountant in the financial department of the 1st camp point. And arrested on September 17, 1937. Sentenced on September 20, 1937 by a troika of the NKVD of the Karelian ASSR under Art. 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. Shot on September 28, 1937 near the station Medvezhya Gora (Sandormokh tract). Rehabilitated by the Prosecutor of Karelia on November 21, 1989. in the case of 1937, in the case of 1924 he was rehabilitated 07.08.1991.
