Artist. Daughter of Nikolai Leontievich Benois.

Attended drawing classes at the Imperial Academy of Arts (studied with P.P. Chistyakov). She worked in watercolors and oils; copied paintings by 19th century artists. In 1874 she married the sculptor Evgeniy Aleksandrovich Lanceray, whom she assisted in his work. In 1876 she visited Paris with her husband. Founding member of the First Ladies' Art Circle (1882). Summer in the 1880-1910s. spent in the Neskuchnoye estate in Kursk province. In 1902-1903 she was in Italy, Vienna; in 1905-1906 she lived in Paris with her daughter Zinaida. From December 1920 she lived in Petrograd. Among the children are artists Lancere Evgeny Evgenievich, Sofya Daniel (1880-1964), Serebryakova Zinaida Evgenievna, architect Lancere Nikolai Evgenievich.
