From 1923 - again at party work: in 1923-1924 - executive secretary of the Berdichev district committee of the Communist Party (b)U; in 1924-1927 - responsible instructor of the Central Committee of the RCP (b); from May 1927 - executive secretary of the Arkhangelsk provincial committee of the CPSU (b); after the consolidation of the districts - Chairman of the Organizational Bureau of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks for the Northern Territory; from August 1929 to March 1931 - responsible, then first secretary of the Northern Regional Committee of the CPSU (b). In 1930-1934 - candidate member of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks. From March to July 1931 - head of Soyuzlesprom - member of the Presidium of the Supreme Economic Council of the USSR; from July 1931 to March 1933 - 1st Secretary of the Far Eastern Regional Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks. From 1933 - head of the Political Department of the South-Eastern Railway; from 1934 - head of the Political Directorate of the Main Northern Sea Route under the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR. Lived in Arkhangelsk. Arrested on 10/31/1937 on charges of “participation in an anti-Soviet conspiracy.”; 12/12/1937 died in Lefortovo prison (according to information from Wikipedia, he committed suicide); On February 23, 1938, the 5th Department of the GUGB NKVD of the USSR closed the investigation due to death. Rehabilitated in 1956.
