Born in 1896 in Poltava province, Lokhvitsky district, village of Zhdany; Ukrainian; primary education; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) since 1912. Member of the Central Committee of the Party of Ukraine, was elected as a candidate for membership in the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) at the 16th Party Congress; chairman, deputy. People's Commissar, delegate to the party congresses of the 12th-17th centuries; chairman of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR. Lived in Moscow, Serafimovich Street, Bldg. 2 (Government House), Apt. 203. Arrested on 12/28/1937. Sentenced by the Supreme Commission of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on 06/20/1938 on charges of participating in a counter-revolutionary sabotage and terrorist organization to capital punishment. Shot on 06/20/1938. Place of burial: Moscow region, Kommunarka. Rehabilitated on 12.11.1955 by the Military Commission of the USSR Armed Forces.
