Vasiliev Boris Stapanovich

Genus. in 1883 in St. Petersburg; Russian; higher education; journalist; social democrat. In 1917 - Chairman of the Don Committee of the RSDLP. Arrested 03/11/1921; sentenced by the Supreme Revolutionary Tribunal in May 1922 to 5 years in prison; served in Lefortovo prison, went on a hunger strike in protest on August 9, and was released in the spring of 1923. In 1924 he lived in Moscow, worked as an economist for assignments at the economic statistical section of the USSR State Planning Committee; arrested 03/10/1924; sentenced by the OS at the Kogpu on April 25, 1924 under Art. 62 to 3 years in prison and in June sent to the Suzdal political detention center. By resolution of the OS at the Kogpu dated April 15, 1927, after serving his term, he was deported to the North Dvina province (Veliky Ustyug) for 3 years. According to the resolution of the OS KOGPU dated 03/03/1930, he was deprived of the right to reside in the Moscow, Leningrad regions, Ivanovo-Voznesensk, Nizhny Novgorod Territory, SKK, Ukraine, BVI and Dagestan and border districts for 3 years; in the spring of 1930 he was arrested and sentenced to 3 years in prison; sent to the Chelyabinsk political isolation ward; in 1932 he was released, deported to Voronezh, and from November 1933 to Tobolsk. In 1937 he lived in Ufa, worked as a legal adviser at Remmashtrest; arrested 06/13/1937; sentenced by the Supreme Court of the USSR Armed Forces on September 27, 1938 under Art. 58-8, 11 to VMN; shot 09/27/1938; burial place - presumably Butovo or Kommunarka.
