Genus. 05.11.1886 in Odessa; Jew; in 1905–1922 member of the RSDLP(M). Until 1917 he was arrested several times and was in exile. In 1914 he was drafted into the army, was not a defeatist, supported Martov’s internationalist group; in February 1917, while on the Western Front, he was elected chairman of the Council of Soldiers' Deputies, and in 1919 - chairman of the Kaluga City Council. After the Bolshevik victory, he stepped away from the leadership. In 1921 he lived in Kharkov, a third-year student at the Kharkov Institute of Technology, an economist; arrested 10/29/1921; sentenced in December 1922 to exile in Turkestan for 3 years. In September 1925 he was in Fergana; 11/25/1925 deprived of the right to reside in Moscow, Leningrad, Rostov-on-Don and Ukraine for 3 years by the OS at the Kogpu; On 10/04/1928, by a resolution of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR, he was deprived of the right to reside in the provincial cities of the country. In 1931 he lived in Arkhangelsk, worked as an estimator technician at the Sulfatstroy trust; 04/06/1931 arrested in Tula; sentenced by the OS KOGPU on October 7, 1931 for “organizing and leading the Tula illegal Menshevik group” to 3 years in prison; placed in the Suzdal political isolation ward. In 1934 - a prisoner, served his sentence in Kazakh camps; in prison he went on hunger strikes more than 20 times; sentenced by OS KOGPU 04/02/1934 to deportation to the Northern Territory. In 1938 he lived in Arkhangelsk; arrested 02/17/1938 (according to other sources, 04/18/1938); sentenced by the Arkhangelsk Regional Court on February 22, 1939 under Art. 58-10 part 1, 11 to 10 years in prison with loss of rights for 5 years; By the ruling of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR dated May 17, 1939, the verdict was left unchanged. He served his sentence on the territory of the Magadan Region (departed from the Magadan Region on August 25, 1945) and the Khabarovsk Territory, and was released after serving his sentence on February 17, 1948. In 1950 he lived in Bendery (Moldova); by decision of the OS under the USSR Ministry of State Security dated August 26, 1950, for belonging to the Mensheviks and anti-Soviet agitation, he was sentenced to exile in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, where he arrived on October 28, 1950; lived in the village of Kazachinsky, where he died in 1953. Rehabilitated in the 1931 case by the Presidium of the Tula Regional Court on August 15, 1962; in the case of 1939 - by the Presidium of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR on October 24, 1962; in the case of 1950 - by the Supreme Court of the Moldavian SSR on December 11, 1962.
