Genus. in 1894 at the station. Koshedary of the St. Petersburg-Warsaw Railway; Russian (according to other sources, Belarusian); member of the CPSU (b) since 1919. In the NKVD since 1919. From June 1921 to June 1922 - head of the 6th department of the Secret Department of the Cheka-GPU. From 06/22/1922 to 08/19/1922 - head of the 9th department of the Secret Department of the OGPU. In August-December 1922 - head of the Secret Department of the GPU of Turkestan. From 12/20/1922 to 10/06/1926 - head of the 1st department of the Secret Department of the GPU-OGPU. Rank from November 29, 1935 - Art. Major GB. Assistant to the head of the SPO NKVD of the USSR. Arrested 03/07/1937. On May 25, 1937, the case was dismissed and he was released. Dismissed from the NKVD in August 1937. Before his arrest, he was a planner of the MGO promartel. Arrested 10/28/1939.
Sentenced on 07/07/1941 by the Supreme Court of the USSR Armed Forces under Articles 58-1a, 58-7, 19-58-8 and 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (an active participant in the A.S. conspiratorial organization operating in the NKVD) to VMN. By the decision of the Politburo Commission of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks on judicial cases dated July 18, 1941, the execution was replaced by 10 years in labor camp, with confiscation of property belonging to him personally. Died on December 29, 1943 in the Volga ITL. Rehabilitated by the USSR Air Force on October 26, 1955.
