Born in 1895 in Simbirsk, from a princely family. Participant in the First World War and the Civil War. After the defeat of the White Army, he emigrated to Harbin, China. In the early 1920s, he moved to Berlin, where he worked on the editorial board of the magazine "Nakanune." In 1929, he returned to Harbin. A correspondent for the magazine "Zarya," he worked on the editorial board of the magazine "Nash Put." In August 1945, he was arrested and interned in the USSR . On August 30, 1946, he was sentenced to 20 years in a labor camp. He died in a labor camp in Vorkuta on August 18, 1953.
