Gofman Ivan Andreevich

Born in 1920 in Omsk Oblast. German national, incomplete secondary education, no records.
In 1942, he worked as a worker at a private farmstead at the timber mill in the village of Simonovsky, Zyryansky District, Novosibirsk Region.
On December 7, 1942, he was arrested as a member of a counterrevolutionary group that existed in the Simonovsky timber industry enterprise in the villages of Sukhoi Log and Simonovka, "setting the task of fighting against Soviet power." From February 1943, he was held together with his "accomplices" (Sergei Ivanovich Shibaev, Grigory Demidovich Lyachin, Aleksei Konstantinovich Bukhovsky) in Prison No. 3 of the Novosibirsk Region Directorate of the NKVD in Tomsk as a defendant in the counterrevolutionary army (investigative case No. 3842 on charges of: Sergei Ivanovich Shibaev, Aleksei Konstantinovich Bukhovsky, Grigory Demidovich Lyachin, Ivan Andreevich Goffman in a crime stipulated by Articles 58-10, Part II and 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR). He died in custody on May 3, 1944.

Investigative case No. 3842 on charges against: Sergei Ivanovich Shibaev, Aleksei Konstantinovich Bukhovsky, Grigory Demidovich Lyachin, and Ivan Andreevich Gofman in a crime under Articles 58-10, Part II, and 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR is forwarded for conclusion and further referral to the appropriate jurisdiction for consideration.
When submitting the case to court, please notify the special department of the NKVD of the Novosibirsk region with a copy of your request, citing the number and date of this request.
