Genus. in 1878 in places. Ilyino, Velizh district, Vitebsk province, in the family of a merchant of the 1st guild; higher legal education; member of the RSDLP(M). In 1930 he lived in Moscow, a consultant in the production plans sector of the Supreme Economic Council of the USSR and a professor at the Institute of National Economy named after. Plekhanov; arrested on December 15, 1930, was one of the main defendants in the trial in the case of the “Union Bureau of the RSDLP(m)”; sentenced by the Special Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 03/09/1931 under Art. 58-7, 58-4, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR for “carrying out counter-revolutionary sabotage activities” to 10 years in prison and 5 years of disqualification; served in Verkhneuralsk, then in Chelyabinsk political isolation wards. In 1937 - a prisoner, sentenced by the Troika UNKVD in the Chelyabinsk region on December 27, 1937 (according to other sources - October 27, 1937) to VMN; shot on December 30, 1937, burial place - Chelyabinsk. Rehabilitated in the 1930 case on March 13, 1991; in the case of 1937 - by the Prosecutor's Office of the Chelyabinsk Region on March 31, 1989.
