Genus. in 1877 in Vilna in the family of an employee; Jew; member of the RSDLP(M) and the Bund; metal turner. Until 1917, an active revolutionary, he was repeatedly arrested and exiled. In the early 1920s, he lived in Irkutsk, was repeatedly arrested for active participation in the RSDLP(M), and was characterized by local security officers as “the most prominent Social Democrat, the oldest, capable of an armed uprising” and an “active” party worker; in 1922 - in Verkhneudinsk (probably in exile). Arrested on November 3, 1923 by the Irkutsk Gubotal Department of the GPU, kept in the Irkutsk House of Deprivation of Liberty; 12/14/1923 released on his own recognizance; sentenced by the NKVD Commission on Administrative Expulsions on 01/21/1924 to deportation to the Zyryansky region for 3 years, but this decision was canceled with the right to freely reside in the territory of the USSR, and on 01/07/1924 he left for Moscow. In 1931 he lived in Moscow, worked as an economist at the Moscow branch of Vostokstal; arrested on January 12, 1931, was in the Butyrsky detention center; By decree of the Kogpu on April 16, 1931, he was released, the case was discontinued. In 1938 he worked as the head of the planning department of the Poligratrud artel; arrested 01/07/1938; sentenced by the Supreme Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces on 02/26/1939 for participation in the k.-r. terrorist organization to VMN; executed 02/26/1939; burial place - Donskoye Cemetery. Rehabilitated in the 1938 case by the Supreme Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces on May 23, 1957.
