Genus. in 1882 in Kronstadt, Russian, lived in Leningrad, st. Vosstaniya, 53, apt. 2. Participant in the Russo-Japanese War, broke the blockade of Port Arthur. Participant in the First World War and Civil War. Served as head of the freight department at the USSR Trade Mission in Japan. Commanded the Azov Fleet. Author of the book "Ice Lichens". Arrested 05/01/1938 UNKVD LO. Charged under Art. 58-1a, 58-7, 58-9, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. By decision of the OS under the NKVD of the USSR dated December 23, 1939, he was sentenced to 5 years of exile. Rehabilitated 02/20/1958. Died on 08/08/1943 from a heart attack on the Spartak collective farm, Pavlodar region.
