Prince. Member of the People's Freedom Party since 1906. In the 1900-1910s he lived in Orel, chairman of the Provincial Archive Commission. Attorney at law for the district of the Moscow Court of Justice. Lived in Petrograd, st. Shpalernaya, 48. Arrested together with his wife on December 5, 1917, on charges of distributing anti-Bolshevik leaflets. Released on bail in March 1918. On 05/23/1918 he gave a written undertaking not to leave. Arrested again on June 1, 1918. By resolution of the Cheka on the fight against counter-revolution and profiteering dated November 27, 1918, he was released from arrest.
