Arrested 01/04/1984. Sentenced by the Supreme Court of the GSSR on April 20, 1984 under Art. 71 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the GSSR, 19-91 Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the GSSR to 3 years 6 months. He served his term in the Perm camps - 389/36. Released in 1987. Returned to Tbilisi, worked as an editor. head of the national theater GPI.
