Born in Odessa. Before his arrest, he worked as the construction manager for facilities No. 405 and 406 of Kemerovokombinatstroy. Arrested on July 12, 1936 as an active member of an underground Trotskyist sabotage and terrorist group in Kemerovo. On April 11, the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR convicted under Art. 17-58-8, 58-10 part 1, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR and was sentenced to imprisonment for 10 years with loss of political rights for 5 years and confiscation of property. He served his sentence in 1939 in Norillag. During the period of imprisonment there was a head. oxyliquity laboratory. He supervised the production of oxyliquit, an explosive for mining instead of dynamite. Released in 1946 without the right to travel abroad. By decision of a Special Meeting at the USSR MGB on March 5, 1952, he was exiled to a settlement in the Krasnoyarsk Territory under the supervision of MGB authorities. Rehabilitated on January 21, 1956 by a ruling of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR. After liberation he lived in Leningrad. He worked at one of the research institutes as a senior researcher.
