Kukanov Fedor Kuzmich

Definition: Soviet polar pilot, morlet (naval pilot) - senior pilot, since February 1933, pilot-instructor of the Polar Aviation Directorate of the Main Northern Sea Route, commander of the Chukotka air group, opened the era of wheeled aircraft flying over the sea, in 1933 rescued 93 passengers by air from the ships of the People's Commissariat of Water Affairs North-Eastern (Kolyma) expedition, in 1934, as commander of the Chukotka air group, participant in the rescue of the crew and passengers of the Chelyuskin steamship, veteran of the Great Patriotic War.
