Genus. 02/15/1891 in Moscow; Russian, son of an office worker; studied at the Commercial School. Member of the RSDLP since 1906. Was arrested in 1908 in the case of the Moscow Union of Social Democratic Students; before the trial he was exiled to Arkhangelsk, and fled from there; lived illegally in Poltava and Kyiv. In 1909 he was arrested while printing proclamations; convicted by the Kyiv Judicial Chamber on January 24, 1910 for belonging to the RSDLP and sent to exile; served his sentence in 1910-1911 in the Biryulsky volost of the Irkutsk province; in 1911 he fled to Chita, then abroad. He worked in factories in Switzerland and France.In 1921 he lived in Moscow; arrested on February 25, 1921, held in Butyrka prison; sentenced on May 23, 1922 to 2 years in a concentration camp. He served his sentence in the Pertominsky camp, then in SLON.
In 1923 he lived in Moscow, worked as head of the general structural section of the department of normalization of the NK RKI (Rabkrin). Arrested 04/30/1923; By resolution of the NKVD Commission on Administrative Expulsions on May 11, 1923, he was sentenced to imprisonment in the Arkhangelsk concentration camp for 3 years. In 1925 he was taken to the Verkhneuralsk political isolation ward.
On April 16, 1926, by a resolution of the OSO at the Kogpu, he was sentenced to deportation to Kazakhstan for 3 years. On December 13, 1927, the term was reduced by a quarter.
By the resolution of the OSO at the Kogpu dated June 15, 1928, he was deprived of the right to reside in certain cities and regions of the country (according to the list) for 3 years. In 1925–1928 he was in exile in Kzyl-Orda and Alma-Ata. From October 1929 he lived in Voronezh.
