In 1931 he worked as an economist at the USSR Trade Mission in Turkey; arrested on February 26, 1931 in the case of the Union Bureau of Mensheviks; sentenced to Kogpu on April 25, 1931 under Art. 58-7 to deprivation of the right to reside in 12 cities of the USSR for 3 years. Rehabilitated by the USSR Prosecutor's Office on August 2, 1990.
