Genus. 10/07/1904 Chukaly village, Nizhny Novgorod region. In 1936, as part of an expedition of the USSR Academy of Sciences, he studied the Norilsk permafrost. Arrested on January 31, 1938 and convicted under Art. 58-10,11 – “anti-Soviet agitation”, “slander of state security agencies” to 5 years in labor camp. He served time in Komi, designed the railway to Vorkuta. At his own request, he was transferred to Norillag, where he designed underground communications. After liberation on January 31, 1942, he worked in Norilsk and Krasnoyarsk, and in 1946 he worked as a civilian engineer in Norilsk. Rehabilitated in 1956. Died on December 16, 1969 in Krasnoyarsk.
