Genus. in 1894 (according to other sources, in 1895) in St. Petersburg; Russian; from the nobles; non-partisan. He studied at the Military Medical Academy (did not graduate), took an accelerated course at the Mikhailovsky Artillery School (1915). Participant of the 1st World War, officer; then served in the Red and White Army. He emigrated, was in Constantinople, then in Prague, studied at the Russian University, one of the founders of the Union of Students - Citizens of the RSFSR. Returned from abroad in December 1923, lived in Moscow, worked as a journalist. Before the arrest, the head. scientific and technical department of the editorial office of the magazine “Abroad”. Arrested in November 1933 as a “member of the Socialist Revolutionary organization” and a “Czech spy.” By resolution of the OGPU Collegium dated March 29, 1934, he was sentenced   under Art. Art. 58-4, 6, 11, 121 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to death with replacement by 10 years of labor camp. While imprisoned in Solovki, he worked on land reclamation and on the animal farm; in 1936–1937 he was stationed at the Anzer camp. By the resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 09.10.1937, he was sentenced   to VMN. Shot on November 3, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated on January 14, 1958.
