Genus. in 1909 in the city of Brest-Litovsk, Grodno province; Russian; ex. candidate member of the CPSU(b). Before his arrest, he lived in Moscow (Olkhovskaya st., 45, apt. 180), Art. engineer of the Main Directorate of the Civil Air Fleet (according to other sources, senior engineer of the Volgo-Don Directorate). Arrested 02/29/1933. By resolution of the troika of OGPU PP for the Moscow region. dated 12/29/1933 sentenced under Art. 16-58-6, 182 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 5 years of labor camp. Imprisoned in Siblag. Escaped on April 30, 1934 under the name Zhurov, detained in Leningrad. By the resolution of the Troika of the OGPU PP in the Leningrad Military District dated 04/07/1934 according to the law of 08/07/1932 and Art. 82 part 1 of the Criminal Code sentenced to 10 years in labor camp. Returned to Siblag; On 10/10/1935 he escaped again, was detained on 10/12/1935 and sent to Belbaltlag. While imprisoned in Solovki, he was kept in detention center No. 1 without being allowed to work. The case was reviewed, and by a resolution of the OSO under the NKVD of the USSR dated March 22, 1936, the articles of accusation were reclassified to Art. 169 part 2 and 82 part 1, the term was reduced to 5 years. For the second escape from Siblag, he was sentenced on June 1, 1936 by the special board of the Main Court of the AKSSR to 3 years, with the addition of the unserved term. On 08/27/1937 he was placed in a punishment cell for 5 days for “insulting a VOKhR shooter and a senior officer in the corps”; on 09/05/1937 he was placed in a punishment cell for 5 days for “insulting the prison management when issuing bread.” By a resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/14/1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on November 1, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated on May 21, 1963 by the Presidium of the Arkhangelsk Regional Court.
