Genus. in 1903 in Polotsk. Jew, employee, member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) from 1932 to 1937. Expelled due to arrest. In 1929 he graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Railway Transport Engineers. In 1937 - Chairman of the Regional Intersectional Bureau of Engineers and Technicians of the Leningrad Trade Union Council. Lived in Leningrad, Lesnoy pr., 61, apt. 184 (in February 1936, the family of Ya.M. Fridlyansky, by personal order of S.M. Kirov, received a warrant for a separate apartment in this building). Arrested in Leningrad on June 21, 1937. On November 29, 1937, the visiting session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR sentenced him to death (case: 58-8-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR). Shot in Leningrad on November 29, 1937. Rehabilitated by the decision of the Supreme Commander of the USSR Armed Forces dated April 25, 1956.
His wife Dumova Z.Z. was arrested on January 28, 1938, sentenced to imprisonment in a correctional labor camp, and released on January 31, 1946. Daughter Ella was born 2 months after her father’s arrest, on August 19, 1937.
