Genus. 10/15/1909 in St. Petersburg. From 1919 - abroad, from 1920 - in Paris; graduated from the Sorbonne. During the Second World War he served in the French army, in a cavalry regiment; after being wounded, he worked as a fireman, loader, etc., in 1941–1942 as an interpreter in the camp of Russian prisoners of war who built fortifications on the English Isles. After the camp was closed, he worked as a translator in the city of Dno, Pskov region. When the Germans left and the Sonderkommando cleared their tracks, he stayed in Dno with the Old Believers, but then went to Latvia, where he looked after the wounded Germans, with whom he was supposed to cross by sea to Sweden, but was detained by a Russian naval patrol and was forced to surrender to Soviet troops. Arrested. Sentenced to the VT of the 6th Guards Army under Art. 58-2 (intercourse for counter-revolutionary purposes with a foreign state) of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 8 years of labor camp. He served his term in Vorkuta. Released 07/08/1953. After serving his sentence, in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the USSR Prosecutor's Office dated March 116, 1948, he was sent into exile to a settlement in the city of Vorkuta. On December 10, 1955, he was released from exile in the settlement under an amnesty. In Vorkuta, he worked as a civilian cab driver in the stable at the Drama Theatre. After Stalin's death, relatives obtained permission to leave for France; in France - since 1963. Died in Paris on March 17, 2004
