He worked as a tutor-statistician of the People's Bank, after the revolution - deputy head of the economic department of the Central Committee of the Union of Tobacco Workers, deputy head of the People's Commissar of Labor for the department of labor at the Gubotdel of Labor and People's Commissar of Labor of the South-East of Russia. in 1920 he graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Don University, in 1924 - the Institute of Red Professors. Arrested on 11/22/1922 on charges of anti-Soviet agitation and disorganization of the Soviet apparatus on the Don. By the Decree of the Presidium of the Cheka of December 3, 1922, he was released from custody. In 1925-1931 he was a professor, since 1931 he was the head of the department of Russian history at Saratov University. A student of M.N. Pokrovsky, he actively applied the class approach to the analysis of historical problems and waged an uncompromising struggle with representatives of the “old” professorship. In 1936 he lived in Stalingrad, held a professorship at the Stalingrad Institute of Marxism-Leninism. Arrested 04/08/1936. On August 9, 1937, the Supreme Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces was sentenced to VMN on charges of leading a counter-revolutionary terrorist organization and propagating Trotskyist ideas. Shot on 08/09/1937. Place of burial - Moscow, Donskoy cemetery. He was rehabilitated by the VC of the USSR Armed Forces on 06/27/1956.
