Genus. 01/15/1881 in Odessa; Jew; higher education: graduated from the Faculty of Law of St. Petersburg University; social democrat; participated in the revolutionary movement of Odessa, Kyiv, Moscow. Member of the RSDLP since 1900. In 1902 he was arrested and exiled to Siberia. Went abroad. In 1905 he returned to Russia. Participant in the revolutionary events of 1905–1907, trade unionist, member of the St. Petersburg Committee of the RSDLP, since August 1917 member of the Central Committee of the RSDLP, defencist. Economist, political journalist. In 1918–1922 he lived in Odessa; editor of the newspaper "Yuzhny Rabochiy"; arrested 07/03/1922; sentenced by the KSPU on August 18, 1922 on charges of anti-Soviet activity to deportation abroad. Died in 1944 in the USA.
