People's Commissar of Ammunition of the USSR, Division Commander (1939-1941)
Born in 1897; Russian; education: 1924-1925 student of the artillery advanced training courses for command personnel of the Leningrad Military District, 1928-1931 studied at the M.V. Frunze Military Academy; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) since 1932. In the Red Army since 1919. In 1931-1933 - Chief of Staff of the Moscow Artillery School, 1933-1936 - Chief of the Tomsk Artillery School of the Siberian Military District, in 1936-1938 - Head of Department of the Directorate of Military Educational Institutions of the People's Commissariat of Defense of the USSR, in 1938 - Head of the artillery advanced training courses for command personnel of the Leningrad Military District, in 1938-1939 - Head of Department of the Defense Committee under the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR, in 1939-1941 - People's Commissar of Ammunition of the USSR, Division Commander. In 1941 - teacher at the Military Academy of the General Staff. Arrested on 30.05.1941. Sentenced to capital punishment by the Special Conference on 13.02.1942. Shot on 23.02.1942. Rehabilitated on 22.10.1955.
