UTTA U. A. Her husband was repressed by the NKVD in 1937 for counterrevolutionary activities. She wrote slanderous letters to her sister in Germany and asked her to petition the Nazi government for permission to leave the USSR for Germany. She also received Nazi aid from 1933 to 1935 [inaudible].
