Volkov Oleg Vasilievich
Genus. in 1900 in St. Petersburg. Arrested in February 1928, under Art. 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, sentenced to 3 years. He served his sentence in Solovki, was released early in the spring of 1929, and lived in Yasnaya Polyana. Arrested again by the Tula NKVD in March 1931, along with his twin brother Vsevolod. Sentenced to 5 years in concentration camps, served time in Solovki, worked in forestry, then on a fur farm. The term was replaced by exile to Arkhangelsk from the end of 1933. Arrested on 06/08/1936 in Arkhangelsk, sentenced to 5 years in concentration camps as an ESR. He served his sentence in Ust-Vym in the Ukhtpechlag system. Released on time. He worked in geological parties in the north of the Komi Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Arrested again in June 1942, sentenced to 4 years in labor camp, and released in April 1944 due to registration. Lived in Kirovobad, Maloyaroslavets, Kaluga. In the spring of 1950 he was arrested in Kaluga, the OSO of the USSR MGB was sentenced to 10 years of exile, from September 1951 he served it in the village. Yartsevo KK, worked as a carpenter, commercial hunter, raft watchman, groom in the forestry, and water carrier. Released in April 1955. After his release, he took up literary work. Died in 1996 in Moscow. Rehabilitated for all five arrests.
