Genus. in 1898 in Barnburg, Germany. Higher education, writer. Since 1930, member of the German Communist Party. He immigrated to the USSR and lived in Moscow. Arrested 11/04/1936. On October 16, 1937, the OSO was sentenced to imprisonment in a correctional labor camp on charges of KRTD. 12/17/1937 transported to Vladivostok. He died on October 6, 1938 in the Vladivostok branch of Sevvostlag. The cause of death was myocarditis. Rehabilitated on December 30, 1956 by the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court of the USSR.
