Wegener Leonid Viktorovich (Vinfridovich)
Genus. in 1908 in Moscow. In 1928 he entered the Moscow State College of Fine Arts in memory of the 1905 uprising. He worked in the All-Russian Cooperative Partnership "Artist" ("All-Khudozhnik"). Arrested on March 27, 1938 in Moscow. Sentenced by the OSO under the NKVD of the USSR on 06/02/1938 to 8 years in labor camp under Art. 58-6. Imprisoned in Sevvostlag since 12/12/1938. He designed the performances of the Maglag cultural brigade and the Magadan Musical and Drama Theater named after. Gorky. Released on September 20, 1946. From that time on, artist and chief artist (until the end of 1958) of the Magadan Music and Drama Theater named after. Gorky Rehabilitated on October 3, 1955 by the Military Tribunal of the Moscow Military District. In 1958 he returned to Moscow.
