Varpakhovsky Leonid Viktorovich
Genus. 03/29/1908 in Moscow. In 1926-1931 he studied at the Faculty of Philology of Moscow University, and completed a course in music theory at the Moscow Conservatory. In the 1930s he worked at the State Theater. Sun. Meyerhold. Arrested on February 22, 1936 in Moscow. Sentenced by the OSO under the NKVD of the USSR on 04/04/1936 to 3 years of exile in Kazakhstan. In 1936-1937 he worked at the Alma-Ata Theater. M.Yu. Lermontov. Arrested on November 17, 1937 in Alma-Ata. Sentenced by the troika of the NKVD in the Alma-Ata region. 12/01/1937 to 10 years of labor camp under Art. 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Imprisoned in Bamlag and Sevvostlag (since September 1940). He did general work in the camps of the Chai-Uryinsky Mining and Industrial Administration, then in the cultural brigades of Sevlag (village Yagodnoye) and Maglag. Released on May 17, 1947. At the end of 1947 he was arrested for the third time and soon released. Worked in the village. Ust-Omchuk director of the Central Club. In 1953 he left Kolyma. Rehabilitated on March 23, 1959 by the Supreme Court of the USSR (in the case of 1937), on April 4, 1960 by the Presidium of the Moscow City Court (in the case of 1936).
