Korovin Nikolay Ivanovich
Genus. in 1905 in the village. Sinegubov, Tula province. In 1911 he moved with his family to Kharkov. In the early 1920s, E.I. gave private mathematics lessons. Kashketin (Skomorovsky). In 1930 he graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Kharkov University. Entered graduate school at KSU. Head Department of Physics at the Civil Engineering Institute and the Ukrainian Textile Institute. He was interested in chess. Arrested 02/28/1936. Sentenced on 08/09/1936 to 3 years in labor camp under Art. 54-10 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (connection with Trotskyist elements and anti-Soviet agitation). He was transported to Ukhtpechlag in the city of Chibyu (modern Ukhta), where he worked in the radium fields. Then he was transferred to Vorkuta. Transferred to the Permafrost Station of the USSR Academy of Sciences under the supervision of VC. Yanovsky. Released in February 1939. He remained to live in Vorkuta, where his wife came to visit him. He worked as a foreman at the Vorkuta Mechanical Plant. In the early 1950s, he became the head of the Joint Laboratory (electrical and instrumentation) for the repair of mining equipment. Taught in educational counseling. VZPI point. Rehabilitated 03/20/1956. In 1960 he left with his family for Stalinogorsk (modern Novomoskovsk, Tula region). In 1963 he defended his dissertation at the Leningrad Mining Institute. The manager worked automation laboratory at the State Institute of Nitrogen Industry of Novomoskovsk. Died 1988
