Ivio Anna Vitalievna
Born in 1921 in Odessa. Studied at the biology and chemistry departments of Odessa University. In 1943 she joined the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN). Arrested in May 1944. Sentenced on 07.07.1944 by the Military Tribunal of the 3rd Ukrainian Army under Art. 54-2 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR (analogous to Art. 58, "armed uprising against Soviet power") to 10 years in a labor camp. Imprisoned in Vorkutlag and Rechlag. Worked as a nurse. Gave birth to a daughter, Nadezhda. In early 1951, her father went to Vorkuta to pick up his granddaughter, but was arrested and sentenced to 10 years in a camp on 06.03.1951. Her daughter, Nadezhda, died. After rehabilitation, on 10.10.1957 she came to Odessa, graduated externally from the Odessa Medical School, but then returned to Vorkuta, where she worked in a hospital. Rehabilitated. Died in Vorkuta.
