Genus. in 1910 in the Kazan province; higher education: in 1929 he entered the mathematical department of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Moscow State University, but in 1930 he left Moscow State University in protest against the persecution of the intelligentsia. He worked as a laboratory assistant at the All-Union Electrotechnical Institute (VEI), then as a laboratory engineer. He served in the army at the Air Force Science and Technology Center. He worked at the Institute of Control and Measuring Instruments, where he passed the certification commission, which gave him the right to defend a Ph.D. thesis without graduating from a university. Arrested on 10/21/1936 on charges of belonging to the communist revolution. terrorist organization of anarcho-mystics, anti-Soviet propaganda. Sentenced by the OSO NKVD on July 9, 1937 to 5 years in the camps, served in logging and in the gold mines of Kolyma. After his conditional release in 1942, he lived in Magadan and worked as the head of a laboratory at the Orotukan Mining Equipment Plant. In 1947 he returned to Moscow. Arrested on 02/28/1949 (according to other sources - 01/28/1949). Sentenced on 04/20/1949 by the USSR Ministry of State Security under Art. 58-10, part 2 (“repeat”) to the reference to settlement in Kazakhstan. Lived in Almaty. The manager worked spectral laboratory of the Altai geophysical expedition. Since 1955 – in Moscow, junior researcher at VINITI, USSR Academy of Sciences (editor in the “Optics” department); in 1957 he defended his PhD thesis at the Mendeleev All-Union Research Institute of Metrology; from 1959 – at the State Institute of Rare Metals, where he created a laboratory of mathematical research methods, and also a professor at the department of probability theory and mathematical statistics of Moscow State University; defended his doctoral dissertation in 1964; in 1975–1988 – chief researcher at the Laboratory of Mathematical Theory of Experiments at the Biological Faculty of Moscow State University; 1993 - Chief Researcher of the Laboratory of System Ecology, Faculty of Biology, Moscow State University. He died in 1997 and was buried at the Vagankovskoye cemetery in Moscow. Rehabilitation: in 1954, under an amnesty, the criminal record was cleared; finally rehabilitated on 05/09/1960.
