Genus. in 1894 in Tver, the eldest son in the family of an employee of the provincial office. He graduated from the gymnasium with a gold medal and already in his youth began his revolutionary activities. In 1915 he joined the RSDLP, conducted propaganda and agitation among students of Moscow University, from which he was expelled and arrested in 1915, was sentenced to permanent settlement in Eastern Siberia. But on March 6 (19), 1917, he was amnestied and released. After his release, he actively joined the revolutionary work. Arrested and shot in 1937.
