1st Secretary of the Sverdlovsk Regional Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks
Genus. in 1891 in the village of Knyazh-Pavlovo, Knyagininsky district, Nizhny Novgorod province; Russian; from peasants; lower education; member of the CPSU(b). Since 1924 - candidate member of the Central Committee, since 1925 - member of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). From 1922 - Secretary of the Yaroslavl Provincial Party Committee, in 1924–1927 - 1st Secretary of the Tula Provincial Party Committee. In 1928–1929 - prev. Ural region control commission of the All-Union Communist Party (b). From 1929 - 1st Secretary of the Ural (from 1934 Sverdlovsk) Regional Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks. Arrested 04/24/1937. On October 30, 1937, the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR sentenced him to death. Shot on the same day. Buried at the Donskoye Cemetery. Rehabilitated in 1956
