Genus. in 1898 in Kyiv; member of the RSDLP(b) since 1917. Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (b) of Ukraine since 1930, in 1931-1932 - head of the Organizational Department and member of the Bureau of the Transcaucasian Regional Committee of the CPSU(b), in 1932-1934. - Secretary of the Irkutsk City Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). In 1934-1935 Head of the Political Sector of the Chelyabinsk Regional Land Administration, in 1935-1937. - Party organizer of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of plant No. 15 (Chapaevsk); Head of the political department of the Murmanryba trust of the People's Commissariat of the Fishing Industry. Arrested in June 1937. Acquitted, released 01/04/1939. Arrested again on January 20, 1939. Sentenced on July 13, 1941 to 15 years in labor camp. In 1953, he was brought from the camp to Beria's trial as a witness for the prosecution and returned to the camp. In February 1956, he was personally invited to the 20th Congress of the CPSU by Khrushchev as a guest - an old communist who survived Stalin’s purges. From prison delivery to Moscow. After the congress, he was released ahead of schedule and rehabilitated.
