Arrested in April 1948 The reason for the arrest was his own denunciation to the MGB on April 7, 1948. Sentenced on September 22, 1948. in Tbilisi by the Military Tribunal of the troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Georgian SSR under Art. 19-58-2, 19-58-8, 58-10 part 1, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the Georgian SSR to 25 years of labor camp, 5 years of disqualification with confiscation of property. He served time in Steplag (Dzhezkazgan, KazSSR), worked as a doctor. Rehabilitated in 1968, he initiated the rehabilitation of the organization’s members.
