Genus. in 1928 in Rostov-on-Don. Since 1930 lived in Tbilisi. Before his arrest, he was a 2nd year student at the Faculty of Philology of Tbilisi University. Arrested on May 18, 1948, he was accused of "failing to inform" the student underground organization "Young Georgia" (he was not a member of the organization). Sentenced 09/21/1948. Military tribunal of the troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Georgian SSR to 10 years of labor camp under Art. 58-10 h. 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Imprisoned in Rustavi (Georgian SSR). Released 06/14/1954. by decree of April 24, 1954. Rehabilitated by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 12/07/1957. In January 1958 reinstated at the university, graduated in 1959. He worked at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the Georgian SSR, headed the photogrammetric laboratory. First poetic publication - 1964; first collection of poems - 1967. Died in 1975 in Tbilisi.
