Genus. 12/29/1919 in the town of Yanovichi, Surazh district, Vitebsk region. Candidate of Economic Sciences, assistant of the Department of Political Economy of Leningrad State University, senior lecturer of the Department of Political Economy of the Leningrad Economic Institute named after. prof. M. Bonch-Bruevich (1949). Member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) since 1944. Arrested on July 13, 1949 under the so-called "Leningrad Affair", accused of participation in the Trotskyist-Zionist organization Leningrad State University. The reason for the arrest was a public speech in defense of the scientist V.M. Stein. She was arrested when she was 5 months pregnant. She was under investigation in an internal MGB prison; on November 17, 1949 she gave birth to her son Andrei in Kresty. Resolution of the OSO NKVD under Art. 58-10 sentenced to 10 years in labor camp. In March 1950, together with her infant child, she was transferred to the Ministry of Latvia (Inta, Komi Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). In the summer of 1950, relatives took their son at the age of 8 months to Leningrad. While imprisoned in the Minlag (OLP No. 4, OLP No. 5), she worked as the head of a camp orphanage. Released on 10/05/1954 under an amnesty with the sentence reduced to 5 years, she returned to Leningrad. Rehabilitated by the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court on June 8, 1956. After her release, she worked as an economist in the Lenphotoartist artel; after the 20th Congress of the CPSU, she was reinstated at the Department of Political Economy of LEIS. In 1970 she received a Doctor of Economics degree; since 1972 professor of the department of economic relations. Author of 60 published works on economics. Member of the Memorial Society. She died on December 9, 1999 in St. Petersburg, and was buried at the Preobrazhenskoye Cemetery.
