Together with her husband and child, she was deprived of Soviet citizenship and deported to Vienna in 1980, after which she lived, actively lectured and published in Western countries. Professor at the University of Michigan, publisher of the anthology “Woman and the Earth,” which is published in 11 languages ​​in 22 countries. In 1994 she returned to Russia. She received the public order “Danko’s Heart” and the “Servant of Russia” medal. Tried to restore Russian citizenship.
