Genus. in 1878 in the village Puhovo Ostrogozhsky district Voronezh province, Russian, from a priest’s family, graduated from the Voronezh Theological Seminary, was repeatedly under investigation by the OGPU. Arrested again on May 10, 1928 by the OGPU on charges of a crime under Art. 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (organized the illegal society “Black Cross”, conducted anti-Soviet agitation). Resolution of the OS at the OGPU Collegium dated August 31, 1928. deported to Central Asia for 3 years and deprived of the right to reside in 12p. with attachment to a specific point for 3 years. Rehabilitated on October 19, 1992.
