Genus. in 1873 in the village. Anoshkino, Ostrogozhsky district, Voronezh province; Russian; from the clergy; Graduated from Voronezh Theological Seminary. Priest of the Arkhangelsk Church in Voronezh. 05/10/1928 arrested by the OGPU authorities on charges of a crime under Art. 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (organized the illegal society “Black Cross”, conducted anti-Soviet agitation). By a resolution of the OS at the OGPU Collegium dated August 31, 1928, he was sentenced to 3 years of deportation. Deprived of the right to reside in a number of cities, designated provinces and districts and the Central Black Earth Region with an attachment to the city of Kostroma. Arrested again in 1937 in connection with a counter-revolutionary organization. Sentenced on September 17, 1937 under Art. Art. 19-58-2, 19-58-8, 58-10 part 1 and 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to the VMN. Shot on September 25, 1937. Rehabilitated on September 30, 1989.
