Genus. in 1876 in the village. Burlak Tambov region; hereditary honorary citizen; comes from a clergy background; b/p. In 1905, he was one of the participants in the revolutionary labor movement, for which he was arrested by the police and dismissed from service. He has been a clergyman since 1924, when he became a monk on New Athos. And he was restrained on June 20, 1927 by the OGPU authorities under Art. 58-14 Criminal Code of the RSFSR. By resolution of the OS at the OGPU Collegium dated September 23, 1927, he was expelled to Central Asia.
