Genus. in 1897 in the town of Repka, Gorodnyansky district, Chernihiv province; Jew; secondary education; member of the RSDLP (m); journalist by profession. Arrested 02/25/1921; released from custody by the Presidium of the Cheka on 11/11/1921, the case was dismissed. In 1923 he lived in Moscow; arrested 05/07/1923; on 07/08/1923 (according to other sources - 06/08/1923) was sentenced by the NKVD Commission on administrative deportations to deportation to the Narym Territory for 2 years. In exile in the village of Parabel, Narym district, Tomsk province. Fled on forged documents in the name of Puchkevich I.G. Arrested in Parabel in 1924; sentenced to OS KOGPU on 05/09/1924 under Art. 72, 95, 222 to 3 years in a concentration camp. In 1927, in custody, he was sentenced by OS KOGPU on 04/01/1927 to deportation to Siberia for 3 years. Arrested 06/04/1937; By the decision of the UNKVD of the Krasnoyarsk Territory of August 19, 1938, the case was dismissed due to lack of evidence of the corpus delicti, and was released from custody. According to unverified reports, he committed suicide after his arrest. He was rehabilitated in 1957 by the KKS (P-8104), as well as by the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation on 03/29/1994.
