Born in 1907 in St. Petersburg, philologist, teacher of Spanish, graduated from Petrishule in 1925, participant in the Spanish Civil War of 1936-1939. Lived in Leningrad. Arrested after returning from Spain in 1937. Accused of espionage, sentenced to 10 years in the camps. After completing his prison term in 1949, he served his exile in the settlement of Ermakovo, Turukhansky District, Krasnoyarsk Territory, construction site No. 503 of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs. Married N.V. Letyagina. After the liquidation of Ermakov, he lived with his wife in the settlement of Poluy, Turukhansky District. After his release, he and his wife left for Leningrad. He died in Leningrad in 1972.
