Genus. 07/22/1900 in St. Petersburg; Russian; Higher education: graduated from the St. Petersburg State Polytechnic Institute. In 1930–1931 - rector of the Leningrad Hydrotechnical Institute. In 1931–1937 - founder and first director of the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Hydraulic Engineering (VNIIG) named after. B.E.Vedeneeva. He made a great contribution to the organization of scientific research in the field of energy construction in the 30s, to the training of scientific and engineering personnel in hydropower. Since 1937 - chief engineer of the site for the construction of the Bolshoi Chuisky Canal and deputy chief engineer of the construction of the Voroshilovskaya Hydroelectric Power Station. 1953 – teacher at the hydraulic engineering department of the Kyrgyz Agricultural Institute. In 1956 he became one of the organizers and first dean of the construction department of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute.
