Born in 1886 in Kazan; Russian; in 1905-1909 he studied in Germany at the Faculty of Philology, in 1913 he graduated from the Faculty of Law of Moscow University; member of the People's Freedom Party (Cadets) since 1917. In 1919 he emigrated from Russia, returning in 1923. He was engaged in scientific and literary work. Lived in Moscow, Petrovka St., Bldg. 17, Apt. 38. Arrested on 01/02/1934. Sentenced on 25/02/1934 by the Special Specialized Department under the OGPU Collegium under Art. 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to exile to Karelia for 3 years. Arrested on 05/11/1937. Sentenced on 10/01/1938 by the Military Commission of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR under Art. 58-6, 58-8, 58-13 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. He was executed on 10.01.1938 in Moscow. He was rehabilitated by the Russian Federation Prosecutor's Office on 20.12.1992 in the 1934 case, and by the Russian Federation Prosecutor General's Office on 11.12.2001 in the 1937 case.
